In 2017, the 4L Trophy, the biggest student rally in the world with more than 2400 people taking part each year along the tracks of Morocco, will celebrate its 20th anniversary. This serves to show the experience built up by the organisers Désertours, who are also behind the Trophée Roses des Sables and the Trophée Roses des Andes, two long distance rallies exclusively for women. By creating the Trophée Roses des Andes in 2014, Désertours expanded its playing field in South America. It has solid experience and credibility with the authorities, especially for fully meeting its obligations as an organiser by ensuring that the rally takes place in complete security. The organisers also enjoy partnerships with colleagues living in Argentina who prepare for the Trophyists’ arrival throughout the year.
